Eyra ("we", "us", "our") operates the Eyra mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Username, name, email address, phone number, age, gender, country, and sign-in details when you register or sign in using email, Google, Apple, or phone-based authentication.
- Profile Information: Profile photo, biography, location, preferences, and other details you choose to share.
- User Content: Messages, chat attachments, live stream content, call audio/video, profile media, and support communications that you create or upload in the App.
- Identity Verification: Selfie photographs and face images submitted for identity verification and moderation purposes.
- Payments and Payout Information: Purchase transaction data handled through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat and, where applicable, broadcaster payout details such as bank, IBAN, account holder, wallet, or payout email information. We do not store full payment card numbers.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Log Information: Device model, operating system, app version, login history, timestamps, basic diagnostics, and security logs.
- Network Information: IP address, connection type, push notification token, and approximate location inferred from your network connection (such as country or city level).
- Feature Permissions: Camera, microphone, notifications, and Bluetooth/audio-route access when you actively use live streaming, video call, media upload, or notification features and grant the relevant device permissions.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Process transactions and manage your account
- Enable live streaming, video calls, and messaging features
- Store and display profile information and user-generated content inside the App
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud
- Review moderation, abuse, safety, and account integrity issues
- Process broadcaster onboarding and payout requests where applicable
- Send push notifications (with your consent)
- Provide customer support
- Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Other Users: Your profile information and live stream content are visible to other users as part of the App's social features.
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate authentication, messaging, media storage, real-time communication, purchases, notifications, hosting, moderation, and customer support workflows.
- Payment and Payout Partners: Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, and any payout or banking partners involved in processing purchases or broadcaster withdrawals.
- Internal Admin and Moderation Tools: Authorized staff and admins who review verification requests, support issues, abuse reports, and financial operations.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
- Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Eyra, our users, or the public.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the mobile app and do not sell or rent personal data to data brokers.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication and push notifications
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: Optional social sign-in providers
- LiveKit: Real-time video and audio streaming infrastructure
- RevenueCat: In-app purchase management
- Google Play Services: App distribution and in-app billing
- Cloudinary or equivalent storage providers: Secure media storage and delivery
5. Data Retention
- Account and Profile Data: Retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward where needed for security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups, or legal compliance.
- Messages and User Content: Retained for product operation, user access, moderation, abuse prevention, and legal compliance unless deleted earlier by you or by our operational processes.
- Live Sessions: We retain operational metadata about streams and calls, such as participation and duration. We do not describe every session as permanently stored media, and live media handling depends on the feature you actively use.
- Verification Materials: Retained while needed for identity verification, moderation, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
- Transaction and Payout Records: Retained for tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and legal compliance requirements.
- Logs: Server, security, and operational logs are retained for limited periods as needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
- Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
- JWT-based authentication with secure token storage
- Role-based access control for admin and moderation workflows
- Rate limits, monitoring, and abuse-prevention controls on sensitive routes
- Regular security audits and monitoring
No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update inaccurate personal information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw Consent: Opt out of push notifications and marketing communications

8. Children's Privacy

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
